Quels sont leurs principaux risques et pourraient-ils se propager comme une contagion à l'échelle mondiale ? Les crypto-monnaies diffèrent-elles matériellement (Bitcoin, Ether, Solana, USD Coin) et, dans l'affirmative, pourquoi cela peut-il avoir de l'importance ? Le Salvador a désigné le bitcoin comme monnaie légale, tandis que d'autres États (la Chine) sont hostiles aux crypto-monnaies. Les tribunaux de droit civil et de responsabilité civile exigent, à juste titre, une restitution pécuniaire aux personnes lésées, sur la base de preuves objectives de causalité, de responsabilité et de matérialité. Les recours collectifs peuvent également être légitimes. Mais les "réparations", telles qu'elles sont conçues aujourd'hui, collectivisent injustement les torts, désignent les innocents comme des coupables et classent les personnes qui ne le méritent pas comme des victimes. Le problème des réparations n'est pas tant logistique qu'éthique.
