Photographer Daniella Zalcman spends a day with the street musicians and vendors of New York City. They might not be wearing suits or working at a computer, but they are taking an entrepreneurial approach to their life: being proactive, trading value for value, and persevering past obstacles in order to get one step closer to happiness.

Daniella Zalcman lives in New York City where she works as a freelance photographer for the Wall Street Journal. Born in Washington, D.C., she graduated from Columbia with a degree in architecture in 2009. Daniella's photography has appeared in the New York Times, Sports Illustrated, Vanity Fair, New York Magazine, Saatchi and Saatchi, National Geographic, The Nation, and Wired.
